Dr. Anusha Chalasani did her graduation in Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation. Out of her interest and passion towards child care, she pursued her MD Pediatrics in N.R.I Medical College. Later she worked in various roles in government and private medical colleges where she gained experience and expertise in her field. During this period she felt a need for advanced treatment for neonates to improve their survival. She did her Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neonatology in a tertiary center in Chennai.
